Tutoring and Academic Services

The Ohio State University offers a broad range of tutoring and academic services, so students have the tools and tips to succeed in the classroom.

Tutoring Services

Provided by Housing and Residence Education (HRE), certified peer tutors provide free scheduled or drop-in tutoring in math, physics, chemistry and biology during the academic year for undergraduate students on the Columbus campus. Tutoring takes place in Room 211 at the Younkin Success Center and other locations on campus.

Writing Center

Offers free consultation with any stage of the writing process and open to all Ohio State students, including research papers and lab reports, application materials, dissertations and more!

Walter E. Dennis Learning Center (DLC)

For students of all ranks looking to enhance their learning and motivational strategies, the DLC offers elective courses, academic coaching appointments and workshops.
